i don't usually like the films but DH part one was excellent.
the actors playing the trio really, REALLY stepped up their game, and i'm usually hyper critical of all of them so that's saying something.
i feel a kind of kinship with everyone who grew up with Harry Potter. it's amazing that its a phenomenon that belongs to our generation.

i feel so lucky to have been in this generation. i'm in my last year of school, so I feel like I've truly grown up alongside the trio in both the books and the films.

This is great! I love how you portrayed them!

I had the same reaction to the film. I loved it and I was always very critical of the previous films. I felt like in DH the actors finally started to portray the characters I love in the books instead of a disappointing movie version. I was really impressed with Ron and Hermione in the film and finally I didn't cringe everytime Daniel Radcliffe opened his mouth!

I love this. And I completely agree - the film was SO GOOD and I normally go on and on about how rubbish the trio's acting is but this time I thought was just suddenly much better than any of the others - they just seemed to have stepped up their game as you said.
