I'm incredibly envious of 
's version of Amalthea from Peter S. Beagle's "The Last Unicorn" : [link] and her version inspired me to be brave and try to capture her face. I haven't done it - i don't really think anyone can, but it was fun trying to get the hair the right colour - not grey or white exactly, but a sort of muted purple... anyway, tell me what you think.

Out of every Amalthea drawing on the net, only this one captures her being. I really like it - it might not be the amalthea we saw in the movie but it is in essence the most accurate of the realistic. In other words I absolutely love it and it is a very powerful image to me.
